Sunny, warm, and peaceful. Well, somewhat sunny, anyway. The canopy above sheltered them from the light, letting only rays shimmer through the tops where the branches and leaves did not meet and holes opened up. Some leaves looked chewed by bug type Pokemon, and Max didn't doubt that some had managed to get all the way up there to eat. He couldn't help but wonder how many bug type Pokemon were here, seeing as how many had either migrated here from different regions, or were brought over and then released for whatever reason and allowed to live here, thus upping the population of the wild Pokemon here. Sure, there were other Pokemon that lived here, such as Pikachu and a few others he could not name, but, from what the locals of Viridian said, mostly bug type Pokemon lived here. Which was why he thought that it would be such a great place for Procyon, his Abra, to train.
Said Pokemon was dangling from his trainer's arms, being held like a child might hold a Meowth kit when walking around with it, the Abra's legs dangling down with his arms over his trainer's folded ones. He obviously didn't look too happy, looking around nervously even though his trainer and fellow Pokemon, a Chimchar, both bore large, goofy smiles on their faces, and seeming to not have a care in the world. Said Chimchar, Orion, sat like a child on his trainer's shoulders, his legs around his trainer's neck with his head peeking over his trainer's head, his small hands grabbing onto the brunette's hair so that he wouldn't fall off.
"Wow, today's a really great day!" Max was saying as he tromped through the woods. It wasn't too much of a wonder as to why there weren't any Pokemon around; he was making so much noise, he probably scared them all off, however he didn't seem to realized that one bit as he rambled on. "I'm glad we came today, otherwise we probably wouldn't have been able to find many Pokemon today. Don't 'cha think it's a nice day, Orion?"
"Char Chimchar!" Orion replied enthusiastically, looking around with wonder at his surroundings. There hadn't really been a forest around Max's home growing up, so neither got to play an any, minus a few trees they managed to find and try to scale.
"Well, that's good!" Max said, chuckling at his Pokemon's reaction. Looking down to the Abra in his arms, he asked, "What about you, Pro? Don't 'cha think it's really nice out today?"
"Abra Bra.....," replied the small Pokemon, albeit rather hesitantly, with a rather sad tone. Max's expression seemed to sadden as well, moving to pat the Abra on his head.
"Don't worry, Procyon, it won't look so scary after a while," Max reassured as he slowed to a stop. Taking a moment to look around, the young teen realized that they had actually gotten kind of deep in the forest. "Hey, I know!" he said rather enthusiastically, "This looks like the perfect place to train? What'd ya say, Pro?"
It took a moment, but the Abra finally nodded, although he didn't look to positive about his answer.
"Yeah, alright!" Max said happily, leaning over to set Procyon on the ground. Orion leap off of his trainer's shoulders as he bent over, tromping on the tall grass before plopping onto his rear, patiently watching as Procyon wearily got his balance and took a moment to walk around again. "Well," Max sighed as Procyon gained his bearings, "this is the perfect place to train, but..... where are all the Pokemon?"[/style][STYLE=width:250px; height:20px; background-color: #00FF7F; font-family:georgia; font-size:10px; color:#000000; margin-top: 10px; padding-top:5px; text-align:center; float:right]TEMPLATE by DELL @ BTN and PRE [/style][/style]
